LED connection, resistor or not

Hello,

I use a Cree XM-L RGBW LED.

Product Voltage: Red 2.25~2.6V, Green 3.3~3.9V, Blue 3.1~3.7V, White 3.1~3.7V
Maximum Drive Current: 1A
Maximum Power: 12W

Do I need to add a resistor between the Propboard LED driver and the LED ? what is the voltage output of the LED Driver ?

Hi @Dadoo,

You don’t need to add resistor. The average output voltage is adjusted by the LED driver regulation and the PWM sent from the MCU.
